Seaside with Gramma

Ali had so many furlough days this year! An extra week at Christmas, an extra week for Spring Break, and she got out a week early this June. Sheesh!! (Although, I have to admit from a teacher's perspective, I was a little jealous!) My wonderful mother was kind enough to take the girls to the beach for a few days while I was still in school. (Thank you Mama! I love you!) I sent the camera with Ali so she could document her trip.

These are pictures I took on the way to Seaside.

We got to the beach, went to our room and unpacked. Then we found a grocery store and got all the groceries we needed. We went back to our house and got cleaned up. Then we went down to the beach and it was beautiful! It was so sunny. We had lunch at Doogers. After lunch we went back to the room and got in our suits so we could go to the pool!

We went back and ate dinner. Gramma made some special noodles. Later we watched High School Musical and ate popcorn, then went to bed.

In the morning we went to the arcade and Gramma got me and Merilyn game cards. My favorite game was Skee Ball. Mer won twice! For lunch we ate at Dooger's again and walked around the town some more.

We went to Pig-n-Pancake for dinner.

My camera died, and I didn't bring the charger. So, I'll tell you about the rest.

After dinner we went back to the pool, then back to the room for High School Musical 2. (It was a Disney marathon!) Then we went to bed.

We woke up, packed our stuff in the car, and checked out. We went back to town to the toy store. Mer got a sandbox for her Pollys and I got a mini locker. Meri was whining about how hot it was, so Gramma got us ice cream. We took our ice cream to the beach and ate it there and played in sand a little more. Then we went home.
Thank you for the awesome trip Gramma! I love you!
