Nope. It was great! We have our favorite parts, {Dancing Queen with the 3 friends in the bedroom, and the boys dancing in their flippers} and we stood up and sang at the finale. Greg and Travis slunk down in their seats when we started boogying, but it didn't matter. As Casey said, we felt "very comfortable being the only two standing." I had the CD in the car and I put it on in for Alison to enjoy on the way home. She gets it. She started dancing immediately to "Money, Money, Money." That's my girl!

ABBA
I have decided that it's time to introduce Alison to the music of ABBA. It's never to early to start right? Travis and I went to Mamma Mia last night with my sister and her husband. Casey and I have seen the show several times, and thought that it might be "boring" to see it again.

Dance Class

Alison started a summer dance class this Saturday. She's in the class with her cousin Natalie, which has ballet, tumbling, and tap. Watching her dance around was so fun... she had a look of pure joy on her face the whole time! She needed a little help with the somersaults, but she kept on trying. Later that night Ali wanted to show all of her new moves to Daddy and she answered an enthusiastic "YES!" when we asked her if she had good time. She's already pumped for the next class.

Scott Baio
I'm addicted to the show Scott Baio: 45 and Single. A little embarrassing to admit, but there it is. It's another teen heart throb making a reality show. {I'm pretty sure I had ripped his picture out of Teen Beat and hung it my locker in junior high. Right next to Ralph Macchio} Why do they do it? Are they trying to get their careers back on track? You know you should probably keep flipping through the channels to see what else is on, but something stops you and you watch a little more. Pretty soon you have your DVR set to permanently record the flippin' show. Cripes!

Swimming
Sleeping Through the Night... or Not.
I hear my sweet baby crying once again... It's about that time. Her internal alarm clock seems to be set around midnight and 4am. Alison slept through the night at 3 months! What are we doing differently? I have heard several theories; one of which is to let her cry it out. However, when I try that she tends to get herself all worked up and ends up a snotty, screaming mess. So, I'll go in there and give her back her binky. And if that doesn't work, I'll rock her back to sleep. I'll tell myself to remember this time and cherish it because she'll grow up so fast. {Even if I'm exhausted.}

Here We Go!
Thanks to my dear friend, Keri, I'm taking the plunge into blogging. {Insert a deep breath.} I think this will be a good thing... once I get the hang of it!
