Merilyn & Lucy

Meri tends to be a little rough with Lucy... she loves to pick her up and carry her everywhere. Ali says, "Mom! Mer is torture-izing Lucy again!" (Nice word, right?) When Lucy sees her coming, she tends to head the other way.

Meri will sometimes complain that Lucy doesn't like her and has a hard time understanding the words "she will if you let her come to you". We are constantly telling her that if she's quiet and gentle, Lucy will love hanging out with you. Here is one of the few times that Miss Meri is quiet and gentle:
