Mother's Day Weekend

My Grandma Mary was able to join us for the weekend! We dragged her along on a train ride to Mt Hood, a Mother's Day brunch, and a Sesame Street Live concert. She was a trooper - and didn't seem to mind it all! It was especially fun for me to watch her as she was watching the girls. Merilyn definitely made her laugh at the Elmo show. Merilyn was rocking out...singing, dancing, & yelling, "Hi, Elmo!!"

*an expired license & the blow tank... "Level 1!!"
*surprising Cheryl at the hotel.
*winning $$ on a penny machine!!
*pedicures {that were less than fabulous}.
*getting a workout from winning $5 in five minutes.
*needing a nap after the workout.
*Vic's Ladies.
*Greg & his impersonations... Elvis loved Cheryl!
*a very excited Pamela & her poster.
*a 1:30 am fire alarm. Keri was packed, had her shoes on, and was ready to flee, while Casey pulled the covers up & chose to ignore it.
*another fun airport experience... this one involved frisking.
*stalking beer boy.
*laughing so hard my stomach muscles hurt.

As I was looking at the pictures I took in Reno, I noticed a few extra pictures on the camera...

A New Fashion Trend

Merilyn has figured out how to get out of her overalls and pajamas (the kind that zip or button up the front). I've come home to find her in jammies with a safety pin at the top of the zipper. I've also picked her up from daycare to find her in the same overalls I dressed her in that morning... but they were on backward. Travis decided to try this trick again today.

Our Weekend

I had the opportunity to go to Newport with my friend (& teaching partner) Beth. It was beautiful weather - a nice change from the rain & cold we've been having. The girls were with my mom (Thank you, Mom!) and according to Alison, they had a fabulous weekend. Merilyn came home with a bit of road rash to prove it! ;-)

Cirque De Soleil

Travis got me tickets to Corteo for my birthday! I was so excited! He took me out to lunch at Stanford's on the waterfront and then over to the show. It was a real date!! :) The performance was pretty amazing... trapeze artists, tight-rope walkers, and people that could turn their bodies into complete pretzels! Whenever I looked at Travis he was shaking his head in disbelief like, "No way!" It was a great day. Thank you, Trav!
